How HSKK Beginner works

This paper follows the three parts of the official exam. ~20 minutes (including 7 minutes of preparation). Pass mark 60 out of 100.

Part 1 — Listen and Repeat (听后重复)15 sentences
You hear a sentence once, then have 3 seconds to prepare and 8 seconds to repeat it. Tests pronunciation, intonation, and memory.
Part 2 — Answer Questions (听后回答)10 questions
You hear a simple question, then have 5 seconds to prepare and 10 seconds to answer in one sentence. Tests spontaneous speaking.
Part 3 — Answer Questions (回答问题)2 questions
Two questions about yourself — family, study, hobbies, daily routine. You get preparation time before this part, then up to 90 seconds per answer. Tests whether you can produce a few connected sentences on your own.
