HSK Reading Under Time Pressure
Ask anyone who just sat HSK 4 or HSK 5 what went wrong, and a lot of them will say the same thing: they ran out of time on reading. They knew the words. They understood the passages. They simply read too slowly and too carefully, and the clock beat them.
Reading is a timed performance, not a comprehension exercise. The exam does not reward understanding every sentence. It rewards getting the right answer and moving on. That is a different skill, and you can train it.
